Log Pond 2014

Here it is Memorial Day weekend already.  Kay and I have been busy around the dock.  She has been planting flowers and making it feel more like home.   I have been busy getting all the dirt and grim off the boat and trying to make her shine.  Some big events have happened this past week.  The boat got its name on the stern and we are getting new canvas.  Our canvas guy, David from Superior Design Top Shop has been doing a great job.  Just about got the bridge done.

This weekend we are at the Log Pond (Martian Slough) and joining our yacht club.  the current was so bad getting up here it took us 2 1/2 hours to do 22 miles.  Here are some pics so far!

Nice sunset before my dock canopy got destroyed.  One end filled with rain water and broke the frame
