Our 3 day visit to Ketch was a great experience. We walked downtown among the cruise ship
tourist. There was at least 2 new ships
every day. These are cities on the
water. Downtown is crafted for these
thousands of tourists. Everything from
high grade jewelry to fishing charters or the constant float planes taking off
and landing. Ketch is very busy, but
also noisy. The docks are full of
fishing boats, recreational boaters and cruisers like us.
Kay had a great time downtown and I could watch people. As Kay went into a store, I went into the
sourdough pub. Mmm I think I could get
use to this. Creek street was
interesting and has a shady past.
We also have made great friends with Al and Carol. Their generosity was awesome. We access to any of the stores and in doing
so, I visited Wal-Mart several times to install a depth finder on the
dinghy. Thank you Al and Carol.
But after 3 days we were ready to continue on our
adventure. So off we went after fueling
up.
